I probably looked where I didn't have to, but what can I do about it.

Because on some forums you CANNOT write "without tails", I must have a Polish keyboard on the computer. As I often enter the IP address, I use the dot on the numeric keypad.

I tried to install MSKLC but this one is spitting on NET Framework version 2.0
In "Programs over features" I tried to turn on the framework in this version, but it works on Windows Update - it does not find the file.

If anyone has a working wizard, could I ask for help?

I would need two keyboards: One Programmer but with a dot and the other UK but with Polish characters.

I can repay the KBL files with points (I suggest 500) or otherwise to be agreed.

And can't you just set up two keyboard layouts in the system (standard Polish programmer + standard UK) and just switch between them from the icon on the systray or a combination of keys?

This is what I do now, and it is very inconvenient.

    I currently have three keyboards:
PL - programmer (with the unfortunate comma)
ENG UK - that is, as it is installed in the laptop
ENG INTL - that is the hardware US Lauout, which I use at home.

The ALT-SHIFT combination only switches between languages, that is either PL or ENG; in the case of ENG, it defaults to the first keyboard selected from the taskbar.

And the taskbar is on the monitor where I often have full-screen Citrix, RDP or Teamviewer windows open and my bar is covered.

And Win + Space sometimes does not switch keyboard layouts? Or Ctrl + Shift. Depends on the Windows version yet.

Install 3.5. It includes 2.0 in itself. With "Turn Windows features on or off" you should have succeeded. And if not, manually from the Win 10 installation media according to the instructions here: https://www.maketecheasier.com/install-net-framework-windows-10/

It just fails. And for programs from sites other than the official MS and approved by IT, I am forbidden.
This is a business PC and unfortunately I have no freedom in this regard.

But after all, I did not provide any "third party" program /. Manual installation there is described using the built-in MS tools and the original Win 10 installation media, the image of which you can normally download from the MS site.

Thanks to my colleague @ speedy9, I launched the Framework in the desired version:
I put the bootable USB in WIN 10 and from the CMD window (run as administrator) I gave the command:

    Dism / online / enable-feature / featurename: NetFX3 / All / Source :D : sourcessxs / LimitAccess

After restarting the PC, Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator installed without any problems.

In the meantime, I noticed that Tesco has a discount on the Logitech wireless with the M185 Mouse, but in the UK system. So the US keyboard has fallen off.

But since the topic is set up, and with very good advice from a colleague, something needs to be done about it.

I modified the PL-Programmer's keyboard, I threw this unfortunate dot and changed a few keys to be compatible with the UK layout (i.e., for example, Shift2 => "). The program spewed out the installation files, which I allow myself to attach. After starting the setup, the keyboard selection shows" Polish Programmer - Custom ".

Now just throw out the UK keyboard and I got what I wanted.

ATTENTION! THIS IS A KEYBOARD UK NOT US

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues faced by a user with a Polish keyboard layout on Windows 10, specifically regarding the numeric keypad dot when entering IP addresses. The user has attempted to install the Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator (MSKLC) but encountered problems with .NET Framework 2.0 installation. Suggestions include setting up multiple keyboard layouts and using keyboard shortcuts for switching, but the user finds this inconvenient due to workspace limitations. A solution was found by enabling .NET Framework 3.5 through command line instructions using the Windows installation media, allowing successful installation of MSKLC. The user also modified the Polish Programmer keyboard layout to include a dot and align with the UK layout.
