Hello. I need a key for a new PC and I don't know where to buy it, because this PC is for sale but for private use. How much does such a key cost? Thanks for all the advice. Is the one from Allegro for PLN 20 ok? I know it works.

I see a key for PLN 79. How is it different from that for PLN 20? Why illegal? What's illegal in it if it works and undergoes verification and activation on MS servers? I will contact the client, which is exactly what he means because so far I have not had a problem.

Mostly for Microsoft, these keys are illegal.
These are OEM keys previously used on other hardware, OEM keys from recycled computers, keys for multi-seat VLK licenses, or student license keys (MSDN) that are illegal to use.

It seems that my colleague has already touched on this topic, nothing has changed.

A legally purchased Windows (not ESD version) will have these three things:

- COA in sealed packaging
- DVD or USB media
- purchase invoice

The "electronic" versions of all types are most often left-handed, until recently legal ESD versions could only be sold by two stores (Microsoft and Amazon).

As there are dozens of discussions on this topic at this Forum - it is not worth exploring, in my opinion. Let a colleague call the Microsoft hotline, they will explain best why they consider the keys for PLN 20 illegal.

By the way - just going through the activation does not make the system legal. Activation is just an obstruction to the use of an illegal system.

They consider these keys legal. Why? Why does someone say that it is illegal and for MS it is? I bought such a key and MS confirmed its legality. Stickers, boxes, invoices are a thing of the past.
