    Hello

Just buy a USB network adapter with an RJ45 socket.

Typing the phrase in Google pops up the mass of equipment. Do not take the cheapest, it is important that the bandwidth was 1Gb / s.

    greetings

But why the USB network card (the effect can be the same as today) since the laptop has wifi. All you have to do is add an AP in the room where you have the paw - after eth (if you have an internet socket) or PLC (after the power supply).

As laptops are to be 5mm thick, it is difficult to find other solutions.

It pisses me off a bit because of the pressure to minimize the equipment of new laptops, I bought an HP 15s Ryzen 5-3500 / 16GB / 256 / Win10 for 2.5K and there is no DVD drive or RJ-45 socket, everything can be bought and connected via USB (it would be useful more sockets)
but it's a bit like selling a car in the showroom without rear-view mirrors (you have a camera) and you can always buy it on the auction site, without wipers (you can spray the glass with a preparation that the water does not stick to, or buy wipers etc etc.
but I am glad that there is a solution with this USB adapter because I already thought that only WI-FI was left for me

But the producers are trying. Recently, I saw a laptop with a socket in the form of a pull-out drawer, in which the RJ plug was inserted from the top. I don't know anything about its durability and I prefer not to know.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting an Acer Aspire V5-531 laptop to a router without an RJ-45 socket due to weak Wi-Fi signals. Users recommend purchasing a USB network adapter with an RJ-45 socket, emphasizing the importance of selecting a model with at least 1Gb/s bandwidth. Specific product links are shared, including a USB 3.0 LAN Ethernet adapter. Some participants suggest alternative solutions, such as using a wireless access point (AP) or powerline communication (PLC) devices to enhance connectivity.
