    Hello.

I have a problem with the SilverCrest SSB 40A1 soundbar.

After plugging it in and turning it on, you can hear a slight squeal all the time.
It can be switched to several different inputs: HDMI (ARC), AUX (2xRCA), Line (3.5mm) and bluetooth.

On each, apart from bluetooth, you can hear a squeaking sound (regardless of whether a connector is connected to the source or not, it squeaks with the power supply only).
I took it to another room (where there is no WiFi and other devices that could interfere with it), plugged it to other sockets (without a strip and with a strip), changed the polarity by plugging the power supply in the other direction, checked the polarity and output voltage of the power supply (18v ) and squeaks all the time.

Only when transmitting bluetooth is perfect silence, it paired with the computer without any problems and plays cleanly.

    What could be the reason?
Does it make sense to replace it with a different copy, or are they probably all so and you should just return it?

I could possibly solve the problem using bluetooth, but my TV does not have it built-in and the only solution would be to connect the bluetooth dongle to the USB TV and thus send the sound to the soundbar. The problem would be just (I think) pairing such a connected bluetooth with a soundbar, I don't know if the TV will have any software that allows such a procedure, or maybe there are apk programs for Android TV for this, maybe you can recommend something, advise.

Hello. Change the power supply to some other 12-18v but not the same.

Thanks for your interest, but the problem is no longer relevant.
I couldn't handle it and gave it to the store.

I connected the TV to the tower that was standing next to it and it sounds nice too.
It may not look as effective as with the sounbar which was supposed to hang a few cm above the TV, but getting rid of the squeaking trouble, I also got rid of the additional drilling :) .
