    I warmly welcome
I would like to deal with the problem in my Skoda.
    The car is:
    Skoda Octavia I, 2007 petrol
    Current mileage 170,000km.
After turning the key on the desktop, the yellow engine light appears and does not disappear.
Auto, the engine generally works well except for two things.

Thank you in advance for any hints.
    Greetings.

Hello, has there also been a fault in the refrigerant fluid temperature sensor? Perhaps he is the cause. greetings

Thank you for your response. From what I remember, it was just this one mistake related to the thermostat. The mechanic, what checked it, he asked if I do not have any problems with the temperature while driving.

I do not know how to use Octavia (let people who are more familiar) but for me the faulty thermostat has led to the engine, and the error is a poor mix on the first probe. The thermostat was playing a bit but it was enough.

    Thank you for your response.
Although I have not checked those snakes yet, I have already bought a Vernet thermostat TH6276.87J
I hope it will match and the yellow engine light will disappear from the desktop.
It can not be ruled out that this extinguishing also has another cause ...
    I hope it's nothing serious.

I have some doubts now whether I bought a good thermostat for my car. I see that there are two types, one such as I bought and the other one built into the housing.
Could someone confirm on the basis of his knowledge and this is the right thermostat for my car?
    My car is:
    Skoda Octavia I Tour 1U 2009, 1595cm3, 75KW,
    I bought a Vernet thermostat TH6276.87J

In papers I have now found and the designation of the engine is BFQ, so I understand that this thermostat will not fit?
What should I have, will it be in the housing?

Since it showed its error, it is connected to the ECU and since it is connected to the ECU, it is probably with the casing, so if the Vernet is TE7141.105J but it will be best if you find organoleptically sitting in your car or approach the car shop and let them pick the VIN number.
