    Hello,
as Whirlpool AWG 680 probably ends after about 20 years of work :) I am thinking about a new washing machine. I would like it to be under the table top and up to 45 cm deep. There are several Indesit washing machines from a quick look. I also saw Amica, for example AWN510D, but on the pages it says that there is no removable top, although it looks different after the photos. Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the top from it? Or associate some washing machines with a removable top up to 45cm deep?
    greetings

And go to the store and measure and check the screws on the back.
Each has a removable top so that the drum can be removed ..

Why do you need a removable top? Do you want to mount it under the countertop? If so, you have to go to the stores and choose them because they all have removable tops, only in some models of washing machines the front panel reaches a height of 85 cm and even after removing the top, the height will not change.

Lodxx, I would like to completely place the washing machine under the kitchen counter. I would say a bit differently: only some of them have a fully removable top - most of the front panel remains.

So take the measuring cup and go to the store. None of us will go to the store and write you here which washing machine it is.

Please do not comment on this thread, you do not contribute anything to the topic, so why are you contributing? I ignored your previous post and you keep writing the same. And forgive yourself this commanding tone of speech, because I only asked if someone knew about the subject or could confirm the removable top in Amica.

PS. for your information, I have already visited the store, and unfortunately almost all of them have a front panel up to 85cm.

As for the topic, the ones I found with a removable top:
Indesit IWSE 61253 C ECO EU
Indesit IWSC 51052 C ECO PL
Indesit IWSC 61253 C ECO EU
AMICA AWB 510D - here I found one opinion on the price list which confirms the possibility of removing the top in full, the panel is below.

And I think interchangeable bearings speak for Amica, unlike Indesit.

Yes, Amica has a removable top. This washing machine with Poland, the only thing that has in common is the name, besides, it is probably entirely manufactured in China, but that does not prove the quality, everything is at a similar level. The extensive authorized service in the country is certainly a big advantage and parts inventory.

There are also AWB510L and AWN510D. Maybe you know if this cover can be removed without losing the warranty? Does it have any security seals that I can break and this will void the warranty?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around finding a washing machine under 45 cm deep with a removable top, specifically comparing the Whirlpool AWG 680, Indesit models, and Amica AWN510D. Users emphasize the importance of measuring the height and depth of washing machines to ensure they fit under kitchen counters. It is noted that while many models have removable tops, some retain a front panel height of 85 cm even after removal. The Indesit IWSE 61253 C ECO EU, IWSC 51052 C ECO PL, and IWSC 61253 C ECO EU are suggested as options with removable tops. The Amica AWB 510D is also mentioned, with some users confirming its removable top feature. Concerns about warranty implications when removing the top of Amica models are raised, along with the quality and service availability of these brands.
