Hi yesterday I was taking my iphone 5s apart for battery replacement and cleaning
Unfortunately I was doing it "fast" instead of exactly
The screen was so paired I had to use a little more force to open the phone
so when the screen released - I broke the tape from the home button
There would be no topic if I could just mention that part
However, the problem is that when I replace this element, I will lose the touch ID function, because it is supposedly with an encoded chip that communicates only with the given motherboard

My question is, can this tape be repaired? Soldering seems to fall out with such elements
Or maybe there are specialists here that can pair the new touch ID with the rest of the phone?

The second fault was the hanging volume button, it turned out that a bit of muck was under the connector and it got so stuck that there was no chance to unplug it.
however, when it worked, it turned out that the two pins were bent (probably someone who unscrewed it had to stick it inaccurately) I wanted to straighten them, but unfortunately they broke, so now the button does not work louder at all, and works quieter.
And also the question is, is there an option to desolder the socket from the motherboard and replace it? Or maybe regeneration of these two pins?

Thanks in advance for all the tips :)
    greetings

As for the home button, say goodbye to touch id. As for the volume, it can be repaired. But in your case, I recommend visiting the site.

It can be soldered, but it costs, practically every 5 seconds.

Replacing the FPC connector on the plate is a normal repair, you get a lot of it, especially through a badly connected LCD, as for Touch ID, it depends on how you broke the tape and repair with costs. then it's quick and easy.

The tape broke at the screw that holds this arrangement between the button and the plug

Do you deal with such repairs? what could be the cost of such repairs? when it comes to replacing the connector and soldering the tape?
