    Hello,

I have a problem with the HOME button on iPhone 5s. The motherboard was damaged in my iPhone so I bought an iPhone with a damaged display and a working motherboard.
I moved the motherboard to my housing and it turned out that the HOME button did not work at all.
I checked another button and also the same problem. In another iPhone, the buttons work. In my does not respond to the button.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the reason? The iPhone 5 was guilty of being close to the battery. However, in 5s I can't find it.
Does anyone know where to look and what to check?
Where is the HOME button layout?

Thank you in advance for any help and advice.

    Greetings.

Check this motherboard in a different body, it is possible that the tape connects home to the motherboard.
