    Hello . I would like to put a subwoofer on my a6 c5, but I would care about leaving the serial radio. I have the original in the trunk, is it possible to somehow connect to it?

    There is a built-in amplifier inside the serial subwoofer, as I remember well with its own filters, which supports not only the subwoofer but also the rear speakers.
    I see two options here:
    1) Connect an additional amplifier to pins 6 and 7, where, as I remember correctly, the signal from the radio comes to the factory subwoofer (6 left, 7 right). Then both subwoofers will run.
    2) Disconnect the complete serial subwoofer and connect an additional amplifier in its place. And here are two options:
    a) Amplifier to drive the subwoofer itself, but then the rear speakers are lost;
    b) An amplifier or two that drives both the new subwoofer and the rear speakers of the car. For the left speaker, these are pins 2 and 3, and for the right speaker, these are pins 9 and 10.
    Pin 1 is a constant plus from the battery, although when adding your own amplifier / amplifiers, I would recommend tightening the thick power cord.
    Pin 5 is the so-called remote signal, used to control the switching on and off of the amplifier.
    I hope I did not mistake the pins in the ankle, but if necessary someone could confirm it.

    Well, that's clearer to me now. And if I go under the original plus cable, can I damage the installations or will it only end up with the fuse being blown? I do not know one power speaker, but the power is unlikely to be. I have to buy occasionally, so I thought it would improve because this serial is so weak. As if the amplifier did not work, it hoots more than the game

    It depends on how strong you want to connect the amplifier to the original installation, but in my opinion it will not be a good solution. This should only end with the blown fuse. Factory installation will cause significant voltage drops on the amplifier's connectors, significantly limiting its parameters, and may even cause emergency shutdowns from under-voltage. As if (as always with car audio) I would not regret the few meters of a decent cable here.

    I don't mean the few meters, but the location of it so that it is not visible. If I will get together somehow and connect as it should be
