    Problem with petrol level indication.

    With a detached plug the float shows the status of about half the tank. On the VAG in the engine controller, the correct amount indicates how 10L it is, in the measured block it shows 10L.

    Replacement meter, can it be corrected?

    Ignition on and float connected.

    Ignition switched on and the float detached (float cube disconnected in the trunk)

    The indicators themselves are almost certainly damaged. A typical ailment.

    Damaged Jaeger counter. I recommend changing to VDO (I adapted from A6 C5 full fis)
