    Hello
Someone will tell me how to replace the wire feeder in the Magnum Mig 210 synergy 1600 welder. Step by step, what to take apart, what to look for.
The only thing to do in the manual is to replace it with Teflon when you want to weld stainless steel. But how to do it is not given.
I searched with the help of "Wijk Sam" but found no details, only generalities, what are the guides, colors and size.

By the way, a question about gas: in this weld the gas flies all the time after unscrewing the valve on the cylinder, does it have any solenoid valve?

And the gas hose: are there any hose connectors for connecting the regulator with the welding machine or is the hose clamped with a clamp?

Thank you in advance for your answer

As for replacing the spiral insert with a Teflon one, you unscrew the Euro connector from the device. Then at the end of the Euroconnect there is a nut that you need to unscrew. Underneath it is a spiral insert that you have to remove (of course on the straightened welding lead).
In this place you put a Teflon cartridge.
When it comes to connecting gas lines, of course, hose clamps or welding quick couplings (to be purchased separately, are not included in the set with the welding machine).

Together with the device you should get a nozzle screwed to the reducer. Regarding the possession of the solenoid valve by this welder, of course it is. It opens only after pressing the button on the handle.
    Screw connection.

    Thank you for your answer.
    Nothing unscrews in the handle?

Where can you buy such reducer couplings?

In the handle itself, you can only unscrew the contact tip to determine the length of the Teflon cartridge. The best Teflon liners are cartridges with a tip in the form of a steel spiral. This tip is about 200 mm long. Only Teflon refills can be used. The use of these with a steel tip protects against possible melting of the plastic and pressing it into the contact tip. Select the length of Teflon so that when it is inserted into the cable, the end of it reaches the contact tip itself. Finally, the most important thing. Before inserting the welding wire into the wire, the end should be filed off so that there is no sharp edge. The point is that the wire introduced into the Teflon does not hurt the inside. Otherwise, threads from tear-off teflon will make it difficult to pull the wire out and sometimes even prevent it from sliding out easily.

You remove the element A- it is a gas nozzle.
You unscrew the contact tip. Designation in Figure B.
And the end of the Teflon is to end just below the edge of item 2 in the drawing. This is a contact tip adapter.
Regarding the use of Teflon for high-alloy wires. Some say there is no such need. Unfortunately this is not true. Teflon ensures free wire extension. On steel inserts, it often just gets stuck. This is not noticeable when welding short sections.
The most important, however, is that as a result of friction on the steel insert, steel particles are collected and introduced into the weld. Unfortunately, from the point of view of metal joining, such inclusions are unacceptable. It's just that corrosion corrodes over time, but metallurgy is at stake. Aluminum is also welded in Teflon.
