Hello. This is an amateur, not a service socket soldering. Someone soldered it for the first time without a clue. Super Service. An apprentice would solder it better. And these wires are pretty cool.

Well, the worst thing is that my mother's guest smashed the tablet and said that he can only return what was paid for the repair PLN 80. And even worse is that it was repaired 4 or 5 times in the same "service". Well, the 5th time the guy said that he was not writing any confirmation, only he would remember that it was for her. And now, neither report it nor anything. And now only the motherboard is left to be replaced.

But is the socket working or not?
The person who replaced the socket tore off the pads when desoldering the old socket and hence these wires.

The D + and D- signal probably passed through the PCB, since someone damaged this socket and the service undertook the repair by making a fully functional workaround, in my opinion the repair was done correctly if possible.

The service pays taxes plus the costs of the socket itself, it is probably not that expensive, but you would not do it yourself without the appropriate equipment.

If the socket was allegedly torn off several times, the repair was done with a butt joint ... When the micro USB socket was torn out, the pads no longer hold as at the beginning and it is worth using additional strengthening of the housing to the ground using a larger soldering surface.

As for the repairs themselves, if they were warranty repairs (which I doubt) where I do not know if the damage to the socket is not subject to mechanical damage not subject to free warranty repair, I can only conclude that it was some ordinary unauthorized service that could give some short-term warranty under which these repairs were performed.

If you now have this socket repaired and it works, maybe it's better to get rid of this tablet as a service and invest in something else for the money earned ... Since Lenovo has passed into the Chinese hands, I noticed that the quality of the equipment is what it is, but it's only mine a sentence about this Chinese food.

The pads didn't look broken, only scorched by soldering irons, someone had to treat it with a nice temperature,
After pressing, a new tablet was released, and the website is unlikely to be visited.

And this fully functional bypass could short-circuit in several places, which probably caused the software to crash.
