    Good morning
I have a problem with the TV remote control as above At one point, the power button was getting weaker and weaker. You had to "miracle" the TV to turn off. It hasn't worked at all for some time. Fortunately, you can turn on another button. All other buttons are responsive. I wanted to buy a new remote control for this TV but for some reason it is unavailable. I have two questions:
    - can the described symptoms suggest, for example, a broken path in the remote control within the power buttons?
    - Can anyone tell me another Toshiba remote control model that will work with this TV, i.e. including the built-in player? You can buy similar Toshiba remote controls on the Internet, but I do not know they will work with this particular model.

Thank you in advance for your response.

The malfunction of the TV switch on the remote control is due to the fact that the short-circuit rubber has increased its resistance, which is a fairly common phenomenon. For repair, special rubber bands are used to buy on the Allegro or in electronic stores for a few zlotys, just disassemble the remote control, cut the damaged part of the rubber, smear it with silicone glue available in the set with rubber bands and after a few minutes we have a working remote control. I have repaired my remote controls and my friends in this way many times.

    Repair rubbers.

I would like to add that before "regenerating" the button in the way described by the colleague above, it is worth trying to dismantle the remote control and wash the eraser and the plate. If this treatment does not help, only regeneration.

Thank you very much to my colleagues. By this I mean that the remote control, let alone the TV, is not kicked out. I only have one fear. Once I had a problem with the remote control from the digital polsat. The attempt to disassemble and repair it ended with the necessity to purchase a new one. But those were pennies for good luck. :-) )

Well, you already have experience, do not make the same mistake (nothing by force if it does not go with a hammer :D ).
