    Hello.
I have a problem with the Panasonic TV, as in the subject, after turning on the backlight blinks three times and the red diode begins to blink.
At the start of the voltage look ok, the inverter goes 32V (as described) but can not start, the backlight will jump up to 100V (maybe more, I just do not know if the meter will keep up)
After three blinks, the voltage of 32V disappears.
When the TV Inverter is disconnected it also does not turn on (that's why I do not know whether to look for a reason), the front LED behaves the same and the 32V Inverter power supply also disappears after a while.
The question is, where to look for the fault? Power Supply? Inverter? or motherboard?
Should the TV start without Inverter?
The voltage looks good in the power supply. I replaced the electrolytes.
The fault started to happen gradually, that first there was no "picture" (maybe backlight), it was loud until it fell for good.

It's so hard to run the power supply itself in the right configuration to let at least one be sure?

Please describe the construction of this TV. It should be in the first message.

I suggest not to use the term inverter in LED equipment. It is true that the "inverter" is a broad concept and this module would also fit, but here it has been assumed that the inverter is associated with CCFL backlight.
After all, it's probably better, albeit alien - LED driver.

Unfortunately, I do not know how to run it in the proper configuration, that's why I write as a beginner.
    Led driver is TNPA5935
And the TNPA 5916 power supply

And that's all there is? ;)
And why two names, but each differently written?

It's rather in the so-called "Sandboxes" you should write. ;) After all, the documentation for these TVs is no problem.
    Error "3" is also described.

Excuse me, blank space by accident.
    Power supply: TNPA5916
    Driver Led: TNPA5935
    Motherboard: TNP4G568 2A
    T-con: V11 42 DRC 60Hz Control_Ver 0.3
    P / N: 6870C-0480A
Still a wifi adapter that probably does not matter.

I do not know if I am looking for a good job, but I have not found the documentation.

How is it with this TV, should the rest of the LED driver disconnect the rest should start properly?

:!: I recommend p.25 (trouble with Panasonic 2016, Technical Guide), est.

You will read error 3 in SM, Col. mirex reported
    * usually 3 blinks - A Board SOS.

You do not know or understand> go to the service.
these modules are cheap on eBay.

    Thanks again and best regards.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Panasonic TX-42AS520E television that fails to start, indicated by three blinks of the backlight and a blinking red LED. The user reports that the power supply voltage appears normal at 32V, but the backlight voltage spikes to 100V before dropping. Various components are identified, including the LED driver (TNPA5935), power supply (TNPA5916), motherboard (TNP4G568 2A), and T-con board (V11 42 DRC 60Hz). The error code "3" suggests an issue with the A Board. After troubleshooting, the user discovers a damaged backlight diode, which, upon replacement, resolves the issue, allowing the TV to function properly again.
