Hello, I bought a karcher HDS 895 from 1995 and it worried me that using only cold water in the window on the boiler you can see a jumping spark. Therefore, my question is whether the transformer should give a spark all the time or only when switching the switch to 2 stage (hot water)
Maybe someone tells me exactly where the transformer should be connected, maybe you connected it wrong?

Gray and brown from what you see.
Do not move yellow green because it is a protective conductor.
Well, why do you do this if it's in accordance with the manufacturer's documentation? Do not disconnect the magneto. Due to the fact that it works non-stop, the electrodes dry. When the machine works on cold water, there is a condensation of water from the air and the electrodes can mist up. There may be a problem with the fuel ignition. It will flood the boiler and kick like a locomotive on worn tires ;)

Thank you for your help, I still asked in the service and they also said that the spark is always given when the engine is running.

    Hello
I will step on the topic. I have an HDS 895S washer. How should the fuel dosage for the heating boiler look like? Which controls the dosing, because from what I can see, the fuel pump is rigidly connected to the engine.
In mine, even when I have the knob in the cold water position, the water is heated from time to time.
    Thank you and best regards

If you from time to time hot water at low temperature, it does not stop or the solenoid valve on the fuel pump is jammed, it is rather jamming
