There are databases of various accounting and HR programs on the server.

A computer equipped with windows 10 easily connects to the databases from this server. But I can't see the server in "This computer / Network". And I need it there because I have to map certain folders from the server. Workgroups the same, checked all badges in the sharing settings. And yet the server is invisible. I also have other computers with Win 10 and they can "see" the server in their resources without any problems.

Maybe try mapping by specifying the server address. for smb it will be: \\ IP. or.name \ resource \

That's what I did, I was a little helpless, I was supposed to turn off the computer and go home, but I tried the last move, I entered the network environment, I gave the drive map and even though I did not have this drive, I entered the server and resource address on the server with my finger, what was my surprise that he found ...

I quickly mapped it permanently, restarted the computer a few times to make sure it would not disappear, but it was ok. The funniest thing is that in the network environment you still can't see this server, other computers are and they are not, but the mapped folder where I have it was important.

I do not close the topic, because maybe someone has an idea what to do to make this computer server appear in the network environment
