    Good morning,

Some time ago (about 2 weeks) after turning on the light in the room with the switch the following situation happened, the bulb flashed and damaged, breaking traffic jams throughout the apartment. By damage to the light bulb, I mean that the wires inside fell off (broke?). After switching on the plugs and replacing the bulb with a completely new one, the following problem arose, the light can not be turned off - only by unscrewing the bulb, the switch does not work (regardless of its position, the light is on). I will add that in other rooms everything works completely normal and only in this one room something broke.

At this point I would like to ask what could have happened and is it difficult to rectify such a defect? I would avoid calling an electrician unless necessary, thank you in advance for all your answers and help, best regards :)

Maybe it is enough to replace the switch, or maybe something happened in the box with connections.

It is necessary to replace the switch with a new one, the contacts are probably stuck together.

Remember not to change anything under voltage!
The fuse responsible for this circuit must be turned off!

Of course! I will consult with the owner and the seller in the electrical store ;)

This is for electricians, not for amateurs.

Ps. I close it and move it to a more suitable place.
