Hello. I have a problem with immo and with the engine controller after replacing the clocks. The car is A3 8P, 2006. I had facelift clocks, but English ones and I wanted to exchange them for Europe. I bought a wardrobe on the Allegro, the guy who sold said he could assign it to the car and ship it. I read ori dragon eeprom from the engine ecu and security block from the meter, I sent him vin, pin, immoid, mac, cs, power class and key id. The clocks came, I put them in the car and on the safe display and the flashing light is on (immo attached). After turning the ignition off and on, safe disappeared by itself, the error in the ecu had to be removed with vcdsem, but after each attempt to fire the immo it turned on again (no safe on the display). So I made adaptations in the controller and the car started to burn normally, the status of immo 6. Everything is ok. However, the menu on the meter and measuring blocks shows 2 keys, although the guest claims that he only saved one. I think ok, vcds will delete them and re-read my one. However, in the immo driver, after logging in with a pin, it is impossible to remove the keys. It tests for 0 or 1, vcds takes it, I do save, it kind of saves, but no 0/1 and 1/1 messages on the clocks. Still for keys in immo. I tried to use a dragon to read sb (with skin) but linden - the dragon throws error 3 as if immo was active, I can't even set the course correctly because the same error. Moreover, I can't read the engine driver with the dragon - it shows the message "this is not edc16"! This is edc16, BKD motor. And the biggest problem - I put on the old clocks and here is my wife! The dragon of the old, already adopted clocks can also not read, also crashes error 3 (also with skeyem). I also can't read the eeprom from ecu - the same situation as above. I tried to adapt the driver to the old clocks again, readopt the key (on the old clocks it goes to delete it and re-write it with vcds), unplugged the battery and nothing. What went wrong here? I have the option to upload eeprom and flash to ECU via BDM, but this is the last thing I want to try. The counter is 24c32 on micronas. I still want to pull out the new clocks with sb and compare the immo block, probably something is wrong, but why can't I move the old clocks and engine controller? Thanks in advance for your help.

Problem solved. The dragon released a flawed update, hence the problem. Today I downloaded the latest firmware and it works, it reads both the wardrobe and the ecu. Only one problem remained. There were 2 keys written in the sb of the new counter, the second with id ffffffff, I threw it out manually. However, I still can not throw away my key vcdsem with immo and readopt it.

Hello, buddy - did you deal with the topic? I poured out the 8P0920930R clocks in A3 2005. I added the key and it damaged the batch. It does not display anything on the FIS.
I put in a different load, as if I managed to get everything in order, but as it turned out, the watch resets from time to time and shows a full fuel tank all the time.
Are you able to suggest something? Equipment available - Abrites VAG V18 (relatively stable). I have a matching Security Block.
Do you have a ripped batch? Or are you able to suggest what could have spilled in the one I am enclosing?
    greetings

As for my problem, I was rewriting the load line by line. I found a good batch somewhere and overwritten until the indicators started to rise one by one.
It took me a long time, but finally the clocks were saved. Fvdi broke them and fvdi helped me fix them.

I damaged the desk the same. And would you still have the batch you copied from?

I started flashing the light off and it fell dark on the board.

I don't think so, but I can check it tomorrow night or Tuesday morning. I wish I had included, you would have a ready-made solution.

It would be a pity for posterity ;) thank you :)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues with the immobilizer (immo) and engine control unit (ECU) after replacing the instrument cluster (clocks) in an Audi A3 8P (2006). The user attempted to adapt a European version of the clocks, which led to immo errors and difficulties in starting the vehicle. Despite successfully starting the car after adaptations, discrepancies arose regarding the number of keys recognized by the system. Other participants shared similar experiences with instrument cluster issues, including problems with flashing lights and incorrect fuel gauge readings. Solutions included rewriting the firmware and using tools like Abrites VAG and FVDI to recover or fix the clusters.
