Hello. I warn you: there were topics on this topic in the forum, but they were not about my motherboard. So to the point. I have the ASUS P5G41T-M LX motherboard. Currently, the Intel Pentium E5700 @ 3.00GHz sits comfortably in the socket. According to my calculations, this processor is probably one of the best on Socket 775 (I do not know). But my question: what is the best processor for Socket 775? And if there is no sensible one, then can it replace the whole motherboard, processor, graphics card (mine is shit), and my power supply (also shit)? I look forward to your suggestions.

If we choose the option of modernizing only the processor on Socket 775, then I would like to spend no more than PLN 250. However, if we choose the MOBO + CPU + GPU + PSU upgrade option, then the budget is up to PLN 1,500.

Unless for now a set without separate graphics? ... and so the integrated system will be much more efficient than your Radeon :)
You will buy a card in time.

Yes, that's enough - there's nothing else to fit in these 1.5k zlotys.

Now write if your disks / drives are on SATA?

Yes, and the disk and DVD drive is on SATA. The disk is on SATA II and the drive I do not know, I only know that the plug is SATA.
