    Hello,

Unfortunately, my desktop computer is already old and I would like to mention a few things (actually all) in it.
    I noticed:
    - AMD X8 FX-8350 4.0GHz AM3 + processor,
    - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC 4GB GDDR5 128Bit graphics card
    - I have 8GB RAM DDR3

The question is, what motherboard would best fit these components?
    Preferably up to PLN 500.
For now, the only things that caught my eye are: ASUS 970 PRO GAMING AURA, Socket AM3 +

And possibly what else would be needed to make everything work well?
I have a 550WAT power supply so I will not change it.

    best regards

What kind of power supply is it? The fact that it has 550W is less important than its company and model ... If the hardware is to be used for gaming, think about Intel.

I do not remember the power supply company.
It's just that Intel similar to AMD is much more expensive

    Do not go into old bulldozers. With AMD, I recommend Ryzen 5 1600 + MSI B350 PC MATE + some 8GB DDR4 2667 / CL15.

Unfortunately, the price is once again a problem: / In addition, Intel with similar parameters is much more expensive
So I understand that a graphics card is a good choice :D
Just suggest what motherboard would be worth attention to this set.

And the question is, if the motherboard supports DDR4 ram bones, will it also be possible to plug in DDR3 bones?

Ok, what do you recommend the motherboard + processor package up to PLN 1000?

In this amount you can look for Core i5 on socket 1151, i.e. Sky / KabyLake with a board and DDR4 memory. Do not pack in old stuff, if you add about PLN 250, you have a new set, for example http://allegro.pl/asus-b250m-a-intel-i5-7400-3ghz-crucial-ddr4-8gb-i6943243147.html How to put it together yourself maybe you'll break something. The power supply is still unknown, and this is quite an important element. If it's some no name, you still have a power supply to replace and you need about PLN 160.
On the other hand, if you do not measure above this GTX 1050Ti, the Pentium G4560 / 4600 should be enough and then you can fit the processor, motherboard and memory in PLN 800-900.

Thanks for the specific answer, I will check how it looks. these processors are a bit scary with the price

Intel does not come out more expensive, taking into account that up to the five-year FX you can start with a Pentium G4600 costing PLN 300 in most applications. Let's not forget that for the FX8xxx you will also have to buy cooling, and to dissipate 125W of heat it will cost a minimum of PLN 100. In addition, when you buy FX, you will have equipment that will be able to handle all the threads computationally, but in ordinary applications (games, multimedia) - unfortunately it will get whips from the i3 or sometimes also the Pentiums from current generations.

For PLN 1000 you can buy the MSI B250M PRO-VDH or Gigabyte B250M-DS3H board and the I5-7400.

You will have to replace DDR3 RAM with DDR4, but 8GB DDR3 can still be sold.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around selecting a suitable motherboard for the AMD X8 FX-8350 4.0GHz AM3+ processor, alongside a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC 4GB GDDR5 graphics card and 8GB DDR3 RAM. The user is considering the ASUS 970 PRO GAMING AURA motherboard but is open to other recommendations within a budget of PLN 500. Responses suggest that while the FX-8350 is an older model, alternatives like Intel's Core i5 with a B250 motherboard are recommended for better performance, especially for gaming. It is clarified that DDR4 motherboards do not support DDR3 RAM. The conversation also highlights the importance of a reliable power supply and suggests that upgrading to a newer platform may be more cost-effective in the long run.
