    Hi,

I know you can say that it's quite an absurd topic. However, I bought this Golf about a week ago, the guest only said that the oil will be changed and does not know what oil was poured because the mechanic poured it and did not leave a note or wrote anywhere what was flooded, smaller. Many of you are drivers, many of you have also had Golf, they know cars more than me, I am a beginner driver so I prefer to ask experienced people, so the question is simple ...

What oil for this gas engine? Because 10w40, but someone told me that if there is a gas installation, some other choice, if someone had contact with it, recommend some good oil on which you were not disappointed. :)

Parameters as in the topic Golf III, 1.6 + LPG engine

Hello, I recommend Valvoline Red, nicely lubricates, dampens, and generally very positive reviews. The price is not high in space either. best regards

And I've been pouring elf evolution 900 10w40 into various lpg cars for several years, replacing every 10,000 km, good price, quality too.

Now I saw at all that I have a sponge filter so black, I will put in photos how to clean it because I heard that it is not exchanged.

    Added after 2 [minutes]:

Well, the engine is in good condition, even in the old one, which is now no less, but you can see that it is old because it is dark as tar.

But what you have sent to some scrolls is, and this is the type with some sponge this filter, as you can see it probably does not do the same.

Why avoid Elf / Total? I used it and everything was ok.
As for the topic, pour Lotos 10W40 and replace it with something better this fall, it can be Motul / Liqui Moly.

Elf / total is already one factory. I poured an elf 10w40 into a Citroen 1.8 8v LPG and every year it got clogged and the pneumothorax froze. I started pouring different oil and zero problems with pneumothorax and I don't get the mayonnaise under the cork anymore - by chance ?. They must have too much paraffin or some other influence on the engine

My wife Peugeot 1.1 without a problem on this oil and the same ride on a cold after 2-3 km, to this oil with filter changed evenly every year. Maybe the very design of the engine also influences it.
