Hello.
I'm not in the laptop service, so it's hard for me to check it.
I want to buy a laptop with i5-7300HQ CPU because I need Windows 7 and performance. And here is the problem, because they are only gaming. I watched the Dell 5570 and 5577, in total I like the Dell Inspiron 5577. Gaming but the style without tragedy (Lenovo Legion already recombined for a non-player), has a white backlit keyboard, has an M.2 SSD and I want to throw the second one owned 512GB Samsung SSD. The GTS1050 graphics card is a nice addition that can be useful.
Well, to the point. Once I bought the fuselage / screen I wanted and I replaced the processor after half a year as it did not suit me in the configuration. Now it is impossible and I have to choose the hull with the target processor.
So, can I replace the matrix with another one?
The Dell Inspiron 5570 has a TN AU Optronics AUO38ED matrix. It's really bad. The gaming Dell 5577 has a Chi Mei CMN15D5 matrix - it's almost tragic here. Worse picture, I do not remember seeing anywhere. White is yellow (white is bluish on AU), black is blue (on both), the image is one big milk and it's grainy with very bottom contrast and brightness. The complete uselessness and tragic nature of these matrices in these Dells can even be noticed by the fact that the company's Dell TrueColor application for setting color profiles has so much unreadable inscriptions of the selected options that you have to combine with the angle of looking at the screen to find out what option you choose. This applies to both matrices on both laptops, so there is no way that the model is damaged. Bottom, bottom complete. I wanted to leave the laptop store, I left with disgust.
Can I put some, for example LG LGD049B there? Electronics will take it and switch? Not too much for PLN 4k I can find a "normal" laptop with a 4-core Core i5 7 series and a screen with the quality of laptops from 10 years ago (they had much better screens). On the 8th generation of Intel it is impossible to install Windows 7 so it is not available.
