    Hello forum members of "elektroda.pl"
Recently I bought an "Intel(R) dual band wireless-ac 3160" network adapter from my Chinese colleagues and I have a big problem with starting it.
I have already tried two PCs and one laptop, Windows 10 and Win 7 and fail every time.
The tab is visible in the device manager
Failed to install the "intel dual band wireless-ac 3160" network adapt
and in the center of the network but I can't turn it on.
The drivers are of course installed by the original ones from the Intel website: http://tiny.pl/gn1mz
On the net I found people who had a problem in this card, but usually with bluetooth, and they solved this problem by sealing one of the pins:
    This
Failed to install the "intel dual band wireless-ac 3160" network adapt
or the one to repair like wi-fi
Failed to install the "intel dual band wireless-ac 3160" network adapt
but for me none of these magicians has won.
On PCs, I use an adapter (which is functional because it works with the Intel 521AN card) and it is the worst because after installing the driver that is installed with 15 minutes. the computer is then restarted for 20 minutes. and ends with a blue screen, then PC-et instead of turning on it endlessly stands on the start page, so I turn it off and do a system recovery.
It looks a bit better on the "DELL" Vostro 3360 laptop with Win 7 because bluetooth works on it but wi-fi does not turn on, when I go to the "Network and Sharing Center" - "Change network card settings" and click "enable" the card the network, the message "Turning on" pops up but it stays like that and the card does not turn on.
Failed to install the "intel dual band wireless-ac 3160" network adapt
and after turning on the diagnosis, it is supposedly the fault of the driver:
Failed to install the "intel dual band wireless-ac 3160" network adapt
If the card did not work at all, I would give it a rest and write to the seller that I have a problem, and since it works a bit because "bluetooth" on the laptop has banned, I have been fighting with it for ten hours and I do not know what to write to the seller and whether the card is ok but i'm doing something wrong.
Really many thanks in advance for any help.

Show the card on both sides. These cards were available in "branded" and universal versions. Branded versions work without any problems in the equipment they are intended for, and on others they are detected, but despite the installation of drivers, they cannot be started.

Many thanks for the reply "Heinzek"
SoRRy that I'm answering so late, but I finally got to sleep when I tried to figure this card out.
I already thought about inserting photos of this card and I don't know why I didn't do it so I am asking for it.

I so surreptitiously thought it might be a version of this card.

This is a card for Lenovo hardware (FRU number) and you will not run it on normal hardware.

Many thanks for the quick and specific reply.
This time I chose this model
    http://tiny.pl/gn188
Could you please tell me if it will be good for most computers, or if it is not dedicated to one brand, I would be really grateful.

I bought this earlier card here:
    http://tiny.pl/gn18r
and the seller probably did not write that it was only for Lenovo and that is why I cut myself, although he indicated that for laptops. or is it entirely my fault?

    Thank you very much again.

This one should be OK. However, I would recommend the 7260AC model which supports 866Mbit / s in the AC band, rather than 433Mbit / s.

I am more interested in using "wifi direct" or "miracast" technologies to connect phon to a pc.
In Windows 10, at the end of the taskbar in the action center, at the bottom there is a "connect" button that will allow me to display, among others, phon content at a decent speed on a PC screen.
I have an optical fiber on my computer and 433Mbit / s is enough for "wi-fi". because most of my mobile devices don't even develop this download speed.
Thanks again for the very helpful information.
