    Hello.
    The valve cover gasket was replaced in the car. After less than 10,000, oil began to flow out of it, the rubber became hard (I passed not all 10,000 / 6 months on this seal). What can this be a fault? Poor quality gasket (AJUSA was installed)? Is it possible that LPG blown the gasket (the car has a gas installation, the car makes routes as well as drives around the city). In addition, please select parts for my car, I need the gaskets marked in the picture (D4F712 engine) the marked place next to the controller is the gasket for the engine controller. Thank you for all suggestions ;)

    For rectification are not, you can buy a rectangular gasket replacement:

    Back to the topic, seals have been replaced with new elringa (258.840 and 194.020) + reinza paste additionally for the valve cover gasket. After a few thousand, oil flies again from under the cover. The question is, can it be blamed for this? Pummy gasket? best regards

    // Edit
    The pneumothorax gasket is replaced, pneumothorax is unobstructed. Replaced cover gasket two more times (corteco and glaser + dirko), barely oil after the oil flows from the back. Does anyone have an idea or is there a new valve cover?

    Oil may be leaking there not so much through the gasket but through the screws, because the frogs made the cover in such a way that the screws at the back are on the side of the valves/inside the gaskets and they leak oil, at least in my case

    Curved valve cover plane. Either try to level it gently or buy a second cover.
    It is tightened with a small moment.

    These covers bend. Buy a second one.

    In my case, the cover is simple, interestingly enough, the bushings on the exhaust side where it leaks can be pushed out very easily with your finger... well, nothing will work, a new gasket, victor silicone and we`ll see.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the premature hardening and oil leakage of the AJUSA valve cover gasket on a Clio 2 1.2 16V after approximately 10,000 miles. Users suggest potential causes for the issue, including poor gasket quality, the impact of LPG installation, and possible leaks from screws rather than the gasket itself. Recommendations include using alternative gaskets such as Elring and Corteco, and ensuring the valve cover is not warped. Some users have experienced repeated oil leaks even after multiple gasket replacements, indicating a need for further investigation into the valve cover's condition and installation techniques.
