    Hello ... I have been struggling with the turbine problem for some time .... vw 2.5 tdi 174 engine ...
    While driving, exactly around 105-110 km / h, the turbine switches off and goes into emergency mode. Of course, when we turn off the engine and restart it, the problem disappears and we can go on. The problem does not always appear and you can travel 50 or 300 km. and you can drive 100 and 140 but the speed limit is 105-110 km / h.
    It should be noted that last year the turbine was regenerated and earlier the water pump was replaced, which gave the effect of disappearing fluid in the cooling system.
    At the mechanic - it was found that the turbine is mechanically OK. so the reason lies elsewhere but where ....? Are these regenerations sometimes pic photo montage ???? although it must be noted that the engine has power and there is nothing to complain about, everything is ok up to the speed limits and it is not known how many kilometers .....
    it happens that the turbo turns off after 50 km. after driving or maybe after 250 -300 or 100. but it is so annoying that you never know what and how it will happen and especially when overtaking ...

    And today I made one more small test .... like a 2.5 174 engine .... and at 50 km / h I drive 6 and a pedal into the floor ..... The car should reach 2 thousand revolutions and here :( almost faint response ... there was a reduction for 5 and pedal and we also do not embrace any revelations .....

    Topic solved .... So, after checking the regeneration of the turbine that was installed in the engine, it turned out that regeneration is OK. So says the company that carried out the regeneration. I say NO ... Because after buying a new turbine .. cost 2100 PLN + replacement engine works much better does not fall into the so-called emergency mode, i.e. when the turbine does not rain ...... CONCLUSION FOR ALL OF THOSE .... WE UNUSH BUY A NEW TURBINE AND FORGET ABOUT THE SUBJECT .... all those companies with whom I had to deal with regeneration you can know where to put ... .. REGARDS ...
