HDMI Tel-TV cable adapter does not work, no response (huawei y6 II)

Hello, I bought a phone adapter some time ago to be able to connect it to the TV. However, it does not work after connecting, I do not know if the fault is on the side of the adapter or the phone (huawei y6 II). I will add that the HDMI cable works properly, I have connected my laptop with this TV more than once and it somehow worked there, and when I connect the phone with the adapter, zero response. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe I should change something in the phone settings? I was looking for an answer on the Internet, but I did not find anything specific that would somehow direct me.

Your huawei does not support tv output. The MHL grommet won't work either. You need to look for a phone with TV out support. Unless you want to stay with the Y6 II and you care about connecting to the TV, look around for a chromecast device.

Ok, thank you, I have not seen such information anywhere that a given phone must support the TV output. I have a Chomecast, but I ordered an even smart TV box, it seems to be a more interesting solution for me, the chromecast is somehow not transparent for me, I must honestly admit that I did not know how to use it.
