Greetings esteemed members of the public.
I have a gate operator with a Nassau ND200 control panel. The connection is quite simple - most terminals described and with drawings. The gate works, the limiters work correctly, the pneumatic sensor also works, but not as I would like.
It seems that this control panel is programmed in some way, does anyone here know how to change its behaviour?
What is wrong as I would like? E.g.: in order to lower the gate, I have to hold down the lowering button, even though the gate reaches the bottom and stops at the bottom end, when I press the lowering button again it wants to lower further - the cable falls off the drum, the pull-rod switch, where I have connected the remote control, only opens the gate. And there are a few other things that don't work for me.
I would be happy to return the favour or pay for help.

    Please help and thank you.

There is a problem with Nassau that they do not provide diagrams and instructions from what I learned, you have to call the service, I can be wrong, but I called the service to the wa-you and I got this information ...

Ps. When you call, they ask for the gate number and they have what is installed in the system, etc ...

Adrian managed to get the subject under control.
I did not have a pneumatic sensor connected in the seal, there was a jumper in its place.
It turned out that immediately after switching on, the control panel tests the operation of this sensor by pressing the gate to the ground. If the sensor works ok, the gate works properly up and down.
the rest of the configuration suits me perfectly, i.e. it is basic.
    Thank you for your response.

Hi, do you have any documentation for the Nassau ND100 controller? I have the same problem as my colleagues above, that is, after replacing some part, in my case the tension screw, the gate does not work in the automatic, I can't adjust it.
There is an error LED on the control unit.

You need to adjust it so that when going downhill, the limit switch will work first, and about 1 second later the pneumatic rail. If the order is different or you don't hit the small time window, you will fail the strip test and it will not work in the machine.

Hello, thank you for the hint. In fact, there are limit switches in the mechanical transmission that I had not noticed before. I moved them around a bit and it runs fine. Regards

The pneumatic switch is not working as intended when the door is in "dead man" in the closing direction. The pneumatic switch should be closed until triggered. Try adjusting it 1/4 turn while measuring ohms on the switch. It should be a closed contact.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the Nassau ND200 gate drive control panel, focusing on programming adjustments and the functionality of limit switches and a pneumatic sensor. The original poster seeks assistance in modifying the control panel's behavior, particularly the need to hold the lowering button for the gate to descend and issues with the remote control functionality. Responses indicate that the Nassau brand lacks comprehensive documentation, and users suggest contacting service for support. One user resolved their issue by correctly connecting the pneumatic sensor, which allowed the gate to function properly. Additional comments address similar problems with other Nassau models and provide insights on adjusting limit switches and pneumatic sensors for optimal operation.
