Hi. I have a problem with my e46. Symptoms have such that it shakes the car, gasping interrupts and weakly accelerates. At the beginning I exchanged candles, but nothing was done. As I checked if there is a spark, I noticed that on one pipe there was also a spark between the pipe and the candle. Later I checked how the pipes react without candles when firing. There were sparks on pipes 1-3, 4 of them were not there. 4 candles with previous firing were clean and the remaining ones were black. Should sparks fly from pipes, or are they for replacement, and this could be the reason for this behavior?

With a spark plug placed on the spark plug, they have no right to appear anywhere else than on the gap of the spark plug (in the cylinder). If it is different then either the pipe is burned and needs to be replaced (it may be sufficient to clean) or the candle has a burned side electrode or other problem (central electrode burned, dirty insulator).

Where did those sparks jump over you and what length?

    Compression is in all cylinders?

Currently after the problem. I exchanged 4 leads and it's ok. Only the cable I took from golf 1.8, and the beta is 318i. Can I leave this guide?

the message is not the original but if the car works smoothly without accusation you can ride but try to find the original in the meantime, and use this cable as a substitute cable

In the near future, it is sure to replace the cables. I did it on Saturday, and the cable was set up experimentally, at least now I know it's cables.
