Hello everyone, I need help starting the machine that is supposed to work on such a board: 4 Axes Mach3 USB Operation Problem: Setting up Pins, Limit Switches & Port Configurations along with mach3
But I don't really know how to set it up, namely I was browsing various YouTube videos and I tried to set the pins like there but the board still does not work, maybe some of you have one and can help? The case is that the engine is spinning if I control it myself, but I have no idea how to set the limit switches to what pins and mach according to them does not see all ports according to no candle and automatic search does not work 4 Axes Mach3 USB Operation Problem: Setting up Pins, Limit Switches & Port ConfigurationsIMG_201803...640[1].jpg Download (5.63 MB) 4 Axes Mach3 USB Operation Problem: Setting up Pins, Limit Switches & Port ConfigurationsIMG_201803...558[1].jpg Download (9.03 MB)
or maybe one of you has a list of pins on this board because it would also help a lot

Have you connected the 12-24V power supply from the limit switches to com + com-?

I connected exactly as in the 12V diagram but I am not sure what pins to enter in the machu because I do not have any schedule and I did not find on the Internet either

Only those described in the picture can be used as inputs.

After that, go to the "DIAGNOSTICS" tab and pass "-" to the IN inputs, you will see which ones light up.
In the first post you are in the output signals tab, not the input signals.

Thank you very much for your help, the limit switches are already working and thanks to this way I checked with this minus and I was able to correctly set the pins so that it started to work properly
    Thanks again for your help
I am not closing the topic yet because I will continue to test this board and if a problem comes out, I will still ask you for help

I haven't finished well yet and I remembered already because I have a "wheel" for manual control 4 Axes Mach3 USB Operation Problem: Setting up Pins, Limit Switches & Port Configurations 4 Axes Mach3 USB Operation Problem: Setting up Pins, Limit Switches & Port Configurations

I will use this post because I have a problem with setting the engines (option in MACH 3 Engine tuning)
Well, I gave up the LPT-controlled CD and bought a USB-controlled one.
I started MACH3 but the engine tuning option is disabled. why ????
Nevertheless, I started the machine and the motor control is only possible with impulses. The motors start, but after 1 second they slow down and stop, and further holding the keys on the keyboard does not do anything. I suspect that the engines are badly tuned, but how to do it in MAHC.
Or maybe lower the step split on the controller (I currently have 3200). Please help .

wwal7 - You put this in the PLUGIN folder in machu * .dll library for usb disc support?

Yes, of course, as indicated, I put the library in there.
I am concerned about the inability to tune engines. or do you have that this option is not active?

No, it must be active in order to match the speed, acceleration and step division to the engine power and the inertia of the elements.

After reinstalling to another computer, the engines work.

I have a similar problem with the outputs not working properly. Addresses the spindle 2pin to make 1out work. This tile is a big mess.

For such basic use, it is the best PCB in this price range.
You must misspell something or have it set to send some screenshots

I do not recommend this plate to anyone .. Not only it can hang in the middle of the program cycle. This on the plasma cutter dies completely after lighting the arc.

Buddy, first give what electrics you have made because here may be the main reason. Are all cables screened and properly grounded? Because grounding in this matter is the most important thing! Second, how far is the computer from the electronics and is it exposed? Because usually it's not a problem in the PCB, but in the computer. We have already made 10 machines on this plate and all of them are flickering, although the milling machines are the same, but another thing is this plate is okay, but I personally recommend myplasma for plasma milling machines.

Everything is shielded. After lpt it works normally. And this usb plate is a big g .. If someone wants to put a toy together for drawing with a pencil, I recommend it.

I asked many questions and my friend answered only one ... You can see the knowledge of the topic ...
Anyone who is a bit overwhelmed before the construction should know how the ports behave: lpt super but old and free usb convenient because it is everywhere but it takes over all disturbances (so milling machines can be but laser or plasma is out) and the best is ethernet but that's already the cost shallow. And if a colleague did not realize the topic, he only took it because cheap, let him not complain now and that the capital G, which we are already reading for the third or fourth time, of which this topic was not about it, but the colleague insisted ... But if you want to be behind A 100 PLN plate comparable to the control for at least 10,000 is another matter, you have to really look at what and how. Personally, I have been using this plate for two years with the milling machine and I am very happy with it because I have a 3-axis plotter, revolutions and coolant controlled from the plate and for two years without failure, so for 100 zlotys the plate is really great and convenient because I connect my laptop and it works. And as I wrote 10 machines this year and smaller and larger and as for plasma, please read a little more

Topic summary

Discussion revolves around troubleshooting a 4-axis machine setup using Mach3 software and a specific USB control board. The user initially struggles with configuring limit switches and pin settings, leading to non-functional inputs. Responses suggest checking power supply connections and using the Mach3 diagnostics tab to identify active inputs. The user successfully resolves limit switch issues but later encounters problems with motor tuning and control. Additional comments highlight mixed experiences with the USB board, with some users recommending alternatives for better performance, particularly in plasma cutting applications.
