Hello. I would like to buy a computer with an i3 8100 and I don't know what motherboard would be good for expansion, for example I5 8xxx or i7 8xxx. Could you recommend me a motherboard that will support more powerful processors in the future (eg Power section). I would not like to overclock. It is best if the album costs up to PLN 350. If this amount is too small, link to something as profitable as possible. And one more question whether the i3 processor, which I described above with the gtx 1060 6gb, will shit guarantee 120 fps in the fortnite game at high settings. Best regards.

The B360 for the price of the Z370 is a purchase worth rethinking. MSI B360 PRO-VDH for PLN 295 is enough and it can also be expanded to i7 (as well as any other motherboard that supports such a stand): https://www.morele.net/plyta-glowna-msi-b360m-pro-vdh -980225 /

If you spend over PLN 400, it is better to buy https://www.morele.net/plyta-glowna-asrock-z370-pro4-1533534/ - we replace the lights and eye-pleasing painting for a board that allows overclocking and with a more interesting CPU power section.

And does the msi b360 pro vhd have the option of connecting separate LEDs?

Probably not - although honestly I do not know, because I never paid attention to such things, as I treat it as an unnecessary addition (since it does not affect the quality of the product, nor the stability of operation, nor the efficiency, or durability - this is it unnecessary).

I think that for the expansion, the minimum is AsRock Pro 4 with the i7, the B360 board has only 2666 RAM, which can reduce performance.

The 8th generation i7s formally only support memory up to DDR4-2666.

Well, yes, but with Z-ky you can have 2666+ :D

@ dt1 ok, you can always buy it already turned up :D

That's right, you can turn up the memory, but the author doesn't really care about it, so I don't see any reason to pay extra for this:

Topic summary

The discussion centers around selecting a budget-friendly motherboard for Intel processors i3 8100, i5 8xxx, and i7 8xxx, with a focus on future expandability and performance in gaming, specifically achieving 120 FPS in Fortnite with a GTX 1060 6GB. Recommendations include the MSI B360 PRO-VDH, priced at PLN 295, which supports i7 processors and is suitable for the user's budget. An alternative suggestion is the AsRock Z370 Pro4 for over PLN 400, which allows for overclocking and has a more robust power section. The conversation also touches on RAM compatibility, noting that while 8th generation i7s officially support DDR4-2666, higher speeds can be achieved with Z-series motherboards.
