    Hello dear forum members

I have a problem as in the subject.

Description: When you try to spin, the engine won't start. The washing machine hums for a few seconds and that's it. Break. Again the same. Error F08 pops up.

Let me add that the drum turns freely, without resistance.
EDIT: One more symptom - when the washing machine was running so far, it was terribly "brittle".

I found on the forum that it may be a problem of the Triac BTB16 800BW, it may be brushes - such solutions were used by users. The question is whether it can be a starting capacitor? Such a suggestion came from a friend of a service technician.

The question is, can anyone tell what problem I have encountered after the symptoms listed?

    Thank you for your help
    greetings

There is no starting capacitor there. These are not the years. To check the brushes at the beginning.

    Hello

I checked, I cheated the engine a little and I think it "hung up" because it started to work normally. Could this be a sign (suspension) that they are ending slowly?

Hanging may be caused by dust from abrasive brushes, but they may also be too short and as a result do not stick to the commutator.

The washing machine was not only deceived by yourself. Short brushes will soon damage the engine and even the module. Better to replace them now, the cost of new complete ones is probably about 40 or 50 PLN, and the replacement takes a few minutes (well, a little more because it would be advisable to blow the engine with air to remove all the carbon dust from it, clean the commutator). However, the next damaged engine is a greater cost, and sometimes even unprofitable repair.

    :)

There, instead of cheating, I should have tapped :D
Thank you very much for the advice - of course I will replace the brushes on Monday. So far I am a hero and my wife still loves me :) For the first time in my life I am "repairing" a washing machine - hence this topic. I added some work myself, because when I dismantled the green plate with the programmer and display - I bent the copper plates a little and not all programs jumped on me - but the situation was under control. The gills are straightened and everything flies as it should.

    Hello, again

This time I also have a problem with error F08. This time ... probably more serious. Namely - the washing machine stopped spinning, so I thought brushes again. I saw some metal parts as I pulled out the washing machine. I deduced it was something the brushes were "rubbing" against. These pieces were like these copper wires attached to this little drum. Does this mean the end of the engine for good? Is there any way to deal with it?
Is it possible to replace the motor only with the model I have in my washing machine? (SOLNI U2.5045.02.P41). I found such engines on Allegro for the PFD1284 model: https://allegro.pl/oferta/silnik-pralki-mastercook-pfd-1284-20584-517-8552375702?.
    Would he possibly fit?

Well, it turned out as I said. The commutator rose to the sky and the entire engine with it. The only question is whether the washing machine module has survived. Probably the wiring harness from the engine to the module is also overheated. The motor should match.

    I warmly welcome

The engine fit, I asked the seller to send me photos with dimensions. After checking that everything was ok - I ordered, after receiving the package - I installed it. As they say: "Stupid is always lucky" - so it turned out that after "installation" of the engine - everything is fine and ... it does not even hum ? It seems that since it washes - the beam and module are OK ??
