    Hello,

As in the subject, I have a problem with the Parrot 9200 handsfree system. Namely, it remained after the previous owner. The remote was discharged from the beginning but it was possible to connect via Bluetooth to the phone until it showed a message about too many connected devices. Later it did not turn on until it was restarted by itself. Now just after the Parrot inscription "select language" appears and the newly purchased remote does not pair, according to the attached instructions. What can you do in this case? How to go is the language menu to pair the remote control. And nothing else can be done.

Should it pair, are you sure you follow the instructions? Battery ok? The remote control is necessary to change the settings.

Turning on the set, the Parrot inscription is displayed on the screen and immediately afterwards switches to the language selection menu. Holds on the inscription three buttons indicated in the instructions but does not even have time to catch and the language selection appears. It is possible that too many devices are paired and no longer grabs the remote control. New remote control bought from the manufacturer and new battery.

No, the remote control must be able to pair, try pressing the corresponding buttons on the remote control while the system is starting up. Turn the ignition off so that the system turns off, turn on the ignition then start pairing the remote control.

Managed to. The fault of a faulty battery. However, now there is a problem with the set. I was able to pair the remote control and enter settings etc. but after two minutes the set jams and turns itself off. The problem is also that it does not turn on together with the ignition only after unplugging the screen from the cable, waiting for a moment and reconnecting.

Start by improving the power supply of the set's central unit. Plus a permanent one to maintain settings and a plus after the ignition that wakes up and puts the set to sleep.

Ok and now maybe a silly question but where can I find a central station? Ie where it is usually mounted. I bought the car with a built-in kit and this is the first one I deal with in cars.

Usually it is somewhere behind the radio, sometimes behind the storage compartment ... The cable from the display is plugged into the switchboard, follow this lead :)

Topic summary

The user experienced issues with pairing a new remote control to a Parrot MKi9200 handsfree system after it was previously owned. Initially, the remote was unresponsive, and the system displayed a language selection menu without allowing access to pairing options. After troubleshooting, it was determined that a faulty battery was the cause of the initial pairing failure. However, subsequent problems arose where the system would freeze and shut down after a few minutes of use, requiring manual intervention to restart. Suggestions included improving the power supply to the central unit and locating the central station, typically found behind the radio or storage compartment.
