Hello. After buying a philips android tv with ambilight model 7303/12, I can't pair the remote control with it. Remote control test with digital camera negative, no infrared flash visible. When the batteries are inserted into the remote control, the blue LED on the remote control flashes for a moment. Unfortunately, only at this moment. The remote seemed to have no power at all. This blue LED should light up for a few seconds after successful pairing and only blinks for a fraction of a second when the battery is in power. Unfortunately, without the remote control, the TV is useless for now. It does not even work in infrared, not to mention voice command options. There are some strange contacts in the battery compartment marked in the photo. What are they for. Could this be the cause of the error? I am asking for advice. Without a TV like without a hand ?

Unfortunately, it will take time, and the TV cannot be used for now

Maybe a stupid question, but are you using alkaline batteries?

    Hello
You can pair with the tv phone on android or tablet tv repair Philips app and others. I don't know if you can pair the phone with the tv without the remote.
I have pus6561, so the remote is also different, but yours has RS, you can see the spring near it, but if something can be done, there is no charge available, only the service.
I don't know if they fit between different models. You can buy a new model pilot and auctions.
    Regards
Buddy, have you tried pairing with https://youtu.be/Rzrr55KatOk. Button above 3 seconds it has Bluetooth and IR and distance up to 1 meter.

Well, it does matter if I use alkaline or non-alkaline batteries or rechargeable batteries? I also read somewhere that they are supposed to be alkaline. I tried with batteries. Could this be the reason?
I tried to pair to my friend bajer1 as in the video. I have the remote philips application uploaded, but to be able to use it, the TV must have an active connection to the WiFi network. And here the circle closes because without the remote control I won't do it. And what is this RS near the spring?

If the batteries are worn out (they have a high internal resistance), then of course they are.

    Hello
RS is rs232 communication with the computer, e.g. and give a photo without highlighting so that these points and descriptions can be seen.

Charged or not - it has nothing to do with how old they are.

The remote control was bought and successfully paired. Thanks to this, I connected the TV to the WiFi network. Unfortunately, I can't connect it to my smartphone via bluetooth. But that's probably for another topic of discussion. Thanks everyone

    Hello
Why was it bought and not replaced? And this bluetooth connects only with the keyboard and mouse, read the instructions and besides, this bluetooth can't see anything, my brother has one and he can't see any phone and subwoofer speaker.

Sorry replaced. I read about bluetooth. I was hoping for a smartphone connection. I see that through the philips tv remote app you can view from your phone to tv. Thanks. I consider the topic closed

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a pairing issue with the Philips 65 PUS7303/12 remote control, where the user reports no infrared flash when tested with a digital camera, indicating a potential power issue. The blue LED on the remote briefly flashes upon battery insertion but does not stay lit, suggesting it may not be functioning properly. Users suggest checking if alkaline batteries are used, as worn-out batteries can cause pairing failures. Alternative solutions include using the Philips TV Remote app on a smartphone, although this requires the TV to be connected to WiFi, which is not possible without a functioning remote. The user later confirms successfully pairing a new remote, allowing them to connect the TV to WiFi, but faces challenges with Bluetooth connectivity. The discussion also touches on the RS232 communication port near the battery compartment, which some users speculate about.
