Hello, I can not find a place where you enter SMSC is specifically about the Huwawei pro 20 model. The classic path does not contain such a field in the message settings. I have already gone down with the help of the operator (Virgin number) on huwawei no one answers and text messages do not work as they do not work. Maybe someone has already solved the problem

I do not have p20 at hand, but when you enter the message menu, you click the menu (3 dots or 3 dashes) pops up menu, where you should click "settings"> "advanced"> SMS Center number. Please upload a screenshot, because I rely on a different model.

I have already reported this to Huwawei and after 30 minutes of exercises with the call center employee they sent me to the site earlier, they had to do a reset to factory settings which did not help anything. A screenshot looks like below I thought maybe this phone number is the place but it does not work. I will see what they will come up with tomorrow.

See if the SMSC setting is available in the menu available under * # * # 6130 # * # *. If not, move the SIM card to some other phone (preferably some older corpse not on Andrada) and set. The SMS center is saved on the SIM card, so then this setting goes with the card.

I tried the code but did not accept it, while the service said that it was supposed to be downloaded by itself and that the new Huwawei field does not provide for it and I have to press virgin. But having enough of these scuffles, I downloaded such an app to sms mood messenger and there you can type it with lapy and SMS already working.
As I know my life, Huwawei will release the patch into their program for some time. But the idea with an old phone also seems to be a good direction thanks.

Hmm, strange information this site provided. The number of the SMS center has always been saved on the SIM card and is not downloaded. Generally, if the SMSs did not work then someone had to change this number and it happened that the customers would bury themselves in the settings and enter, for example, your phone number.
In the case of Android phones where usually there is no place directly in the settings, the problem does not actually occur.
The screenshot that you gave to the standard applications messages from Google and do not think that it directly lies in her problem.

If the code from 6130 does not work then you can see if Huawei has not restored the standard, * # * # 4636 # * #
