    Hello.
Recently, the company purchased a relatively new Brother printer model, DCP-L2532DW.
As the incoming toner with these printers ends quite quickly, ours has already run out.
Original toner with a capacity of 1200 pages costs around PLN 200, when the replacement I found prints the same amount a lot cheaper. This is the JetWorld producer TN-2411, but the problem is that the replacement does not have a chip.

My question is: Does converting the chip from the original toner coming in with the printer (completely exhausted) to the replacement allows you to use the replacement in the printer? Namely, will the printer not show the message of the lack of ink despite the full toner? Will it be possible to print?

The chip you translate from the toner (but not the starter) or you perform a reset

In this l2532 model this reset does not work.
I also have a problem with the above mentioned device.
After replacing the replacement toner with the chip, it continues to display the lack of toner.

You have to do it or reset with the sprockets

    Or advertise a toner chip.

And in the case of wu I ordered and is on the way replacement TN-2421 Toner yield is about 3,000 Pages. And the tips of the above did not work for me with the original toner, but I read that in the replacement TN-2421 the reset looks like a gear or a switch and how is it in the original ?.

    On the original the same.
The starter toner does not have a reset mechanism.

    welcome back

I understood that the chip must be zeroed with the new toner, and so the original has no resetting mechanism (ie how would the new chip be zeroed, then the original would also work after filling it up)?

    greetings

    Hello,
I have a Brother L2352DW and starter toner.
When the starter toner runs out I need to buy a replacement with a chip or without a chip?
Is it enough to transfer the chip from the starter toner and it will work?

You need to buy toner with a chip.
Then you can regenerate it and replace the chip.

    Thank you for your response,
I understand that it does not matter if I buy the original with a chip or a replacement with a chip?
Regeneration = shifting the chip to the next toner or need to reset it?

Hello. I have been suffering lately with this printer and this problem. I bought a cheap replacement and did not work (did not detect the toner at all) also decided to buy TB Print toner because I never had problems with them. Surprisingly, it did not work, even though the rack was reset well. In spite of all logical actions, I transferred the chip from the starter toner, where there was already a message to replace the toner and then the replacement came to life and the printer prints.

The replacement chip does not work in this printer model - substitute manufacturers should take some steps in this matter because buying toned toners we should not have such surprises as users.

In turn, I replaced the toner with a 3000-page replacement for the Brother DCP-L2532DW printer I bought without a chip I translated from the starter toner and there is no problem the toner works fine I was told in the company that after a few calls may then be necessary to buy a new original chip in my case, it will take years for that to happen.

    greetings

    Hello.
I bought and installed a replacement toner cartridge with a chip for Brother DCP L2532DW printers. The printer writes: open the front cover and replace the toner. I went to my printer's website (I entered the IP address in the browser) and on the left I chose the "replace toner" option. I changed the option (with the door open - I don't know if it matters) "stop" to "continue". I approved "submit". After closing the cover, the printer writes "replace toner". I pressed the "clear" button on the printer and the printer prints. Maybe it will be useful to someone.
    Regards.

    To chyba nie załatwia sprawy:

    support.brother.ca/app/answers/detail/a_id/84010

-The message "Toner Ended" indicates that Continue Mode was enabled to force the machine to continue printing after the toner cartridge reached the end of its estimated life and now the maximum operational life of the toner cartridge has been reached. The toner cartridge will need to be replaced with a new Brother TN420 or TN450 toner cartridge before the machine will be able to continue printing.

    Hi,

I confirm the effectiveness of the method described by the user "spwl"

In my case, I bought a replacement and installed it after the starter toner for 3,000 pages.

I entered the printer's IP address, then "replace toner", changed to continue. I confirmed the submite. All these activities were performed with the printer hatch open. Then I closed the flap and clicked clean.

    It works!

Good day. Does anyone know if only the toner or the drum toner should be replaced in the DCP-L2532DW printer?

Too general question. The toner is replaced when it is about to run out, and the drum is a separate component of the printer that is replaced after a certain number of prints, or when it is damaged or worn out. I suggest starting with replacing the toner itself, and if the print quality is not satisfactory, I suggest taking a photo and creating a separate topic. We will tell you if it will be a problem with the drum or something else. I would like to add that I do not recommend buying the cheapest toner replacements, because they can sprinkle.

Brother's new printers with tip 2 have chipped toners and drums. The drum erase option has expired on the previous series. It is possible that the toner is still mechanically erased + information with the new chip number which then carries out the erasure.

Currently, some replacements have the correct chip. I recently purchased one on one of the auction portals and everything works as in the original.

If the toner chip does not work, you can also do it manually:
    1. Open the toner flap
    2. Press the Clear and Stop buttons until the message "K.Tnr.str" appears.
    3. Click "ok" and confirm with " "
    4. Close the hatch and we have 100% toner capacity.
Tested on Brother l2532dw, so it probably works on similar ones too.

Hi, I'm digging up the topic because I can see that maybe someone has encountered such a problem. My printer model is HL-2352DW
The original toner has run out after 700 pages. I read earlier that there is a problem with the compatibility of substitutes, so I ordered the first - did not work, the second - did not work, the third - did not work. Each one from a different supplier. Currently, I even replaced the drum, but also to no effect.
Currently, I have the 'No toner' message displayed on the printer and the situation visible in the photo after going to the website:

Using JetWorld TN-2411 Replacement Toner in Brother DCP-L2532DW Printer: Chip Conversion

Strange that there is a status of 'No toner' and yet he sees that it is full.
Of course, I tried to reset using the "go" "back" buttons by selecting each of the possible options in each configuration.
I also tried to translate the chip from the original toner into a replacement, but to no avail.

Has anyone met with such a situation?

Hello, can I write a private message? I have a similar problem with the same printer and can't figure it out.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the use of JetWorld TN-2411 replacement toner in the Brother DCP-L2532DW printer, specifically addressing the issue of chip conversion. Users report mixed results when transferring chips from original toners to replacements, with some successfully getting the printer to recognize the replacement toner after chip transfer, while others face persistent "toner empty" messages. Several users suggest that the original starter toner lacks a reset mechanism, complicating the use of third-party toners. Some recommend accessing the printer's web interface to change settings that may allow continued printing despite the toner status. Overall, the effectiveness of replacement toners varies, and users are advised to ensure compatibility before purchase.
