Some printers do not have the option to reset from the "rack" or it is not effective. Installing an "eternal chip" solves this problem definitely. The printer then gets the option to reset the toner after turning off or a special function available in the printer menu. Unfortunately, equipment manufacturers have come to the conclusion that such trivial solutions as mechanical reset using a toner latch do not generate sufficient revenues from the sale of consumables, so they reach for more advanced solutions.
