Brother MFC-L2712DN Toner Reset: Replacing & Resetting Drum, Service Mode Access Troubles

Hello, after buying the above printer, I have a problem with resetting the toner after replacing it with a replacement. This can supposedly be done by resetting the drum, but there is no way I can enter service mode to do this. Most options from YouTube etc. do not work.

You can clearly see in this screen how to enter the maintenance menu.
Although for me this menu will do nothing

Was the reset with the flap open?

There are chips on the toner in these printers, so that's why it won't work.

there is another MFC-L2700DW model in the video, no problem with that
However, in the MFC-L2712DN, the toner is with a chip,
try another replacement for me it helped not everyone wants to cooperate.

Turn on the device if it is turned off
Open the front cover and leave it open
Press the OK and UP buttons simultaneously
Press the OK button to select the DRUM settings
To reset the drum counter, press the UP button
The drum counter should be reset, the front cover can be closed. "

I obtained a working / proven method from the company from which I buy toners:

"Reset Procedure:
1. Start the printer
2. Open the front cover of the printer
3. Press the "back" buttons and the red cross at the same time - release - and immediately press the "back" button
4. The reset menu should appear on the display
5. Select "TNR-HC" for TN-2420 / TN-2421 enlarged toners, or "TNR-STD" for standard capacity toners
6. Confirm reset
7. Close the printer cover
8. The printer should reset the toner
9. Exit the reset menu with the menu button - "house"

After completing the above procedure, the error should disappear and the printer should be ready to print. "
