    Hello all.
I have a Whirlpool dishwasher ADG 8967 IX, type NGPH
    Numbers: Service: 8542 967 10780, SER: 33 0511 017089

The problem is that when I turn on the dishwasher it gets water (I have the impression that less than before, but unfortunately I'm not sure), then nothing happens (the dishwasher is not washed effectively), and after some time the dishwasher releases water and ends the program . Today I pulled her out, I gave her to the chairs and watched more closely. I started the 40 '30 minute program and the dishwasher looked as follows:
    - the dishwasher has picked up water
    - later the water automatically "merged" (the dishwasher was on chairs, so it probably resulted from gravity)
    - nothing happened and after a few minutes the remaining water was drained away
    - water has been poured again
    - washing did not start again
    - the water was drained again
    - the cycle has been repeated again with the difference that finally the F8 error occurred

I was looking for a forum and from various descriptions it would appear that the problem is with the washing pump.

Do my symptoms really indicate a problem with this pump? If so, how to remove it (photo of the dishwasher "from below" below)? After dismounting, can it be checked if it is actually broken?
What do you advise in my case?
Thanks in advance for all the help.

    Hello,

Today I watched the dishwasher a little more accurately and my additional observations:
    - the heater works because the water during the cycle was warm
    - something tries to work during the cycle, because the water in the dishwasher moves (arrow indicated in which place you can see it) and you hear sounds like some kind of pump. Any suggestions?

    Hello everyone again,
Do you have any suggestions what could cause problems with my dishwasher? Is this still pointing to a broken pump? Thanks in advance for all suggestions and advice.

Check for delamination of the wash arms.

    >>17328056 K týmto motorom čerpadiel sú pripojené kondenzátory 2 až 4uF . Už som sa stretol s viacerými , že tieto kondenzátory boli suché -nemali kapacitu . Po výmene kondenzátora , všetko funguje normálne.

    >>17327771 Ešte doplním , keď je zlý kondenzátor ,čerpadlo len hučí a nechce sa rozbehnúť, Odmeral som kapacitu a kondenzátor mal len 100nF .. Mal mať 4uF!!

Topic summary

The Whirlpool ADG 8967 IX dishwasher exhibits ineffective washing cycles characterized by insufficient water intake, repeated water draining, and eventual F8 error code display. Observations confirm the heater functions properly as water warms during cycles, and audible pump activity is present, though washing does not proceed effectively. Diagnostic advice includes testing the circulation pump by supplying it with external 230V power to verify operation and checking for mechanical blockages. A common failure point is the pump's start capacitor, which may lose capacitance and cause the pump to hum without starting. Replacing a faulty capacitor (typically 2 to 4 µF) often restores pump function and dishwasher operation, avoiding unnecessary full pump replacement. Additional checks include inspecting wash arms for delamination that could impair water distribution.
