Hi,
I have a Whirlpool ADG 6240 FD 1 dishwasher. It had a broken draining hose that I replaced.
The water is not draining, it gives the error code F8 E1 after running a program (for the last minute).
I have checked all the hoses, no clogging, not suffocating. The tap for intake is open, I also led the drain pipe into a bucket for testing, but nothing happens.
I removed the OWI sensor inside the filter bay, not dirty.
I removed the pump, no clogging, rotates nicely, checked with multimeter, shows 300 Ohms, tested with 230V, rotates nicely.
I checked the little rubber flap at the pump's exit that prevents backwards flow, it moves, not dirty.
I removed all the connections and re-seated them.
I am clueless. Is it the PCB, some relay on it? Anything else to check?
Thanks a lot!
The manual says the following:
...shows “F8 E1” - Dirty filters. - Clean the filters.
- Kinked drain hose. - The drain hose must not be kinked.
- Syphon hose connection closed. - The closure disk of the syphon hose connection must be removed.
Not sure what that syphon closure disk is, but it takes in the water without any problem, the drain hose has no blockage either.
Before replacing the hose I cleaned the dishwasher and it worked, but the drain hose got cracked and released the water. That's why I replaced the hose and the issue started after the replacement.
Not known.
