    Hello,
I have had optical fiber for 3 weeks. It was fun for hours. Later on, WiFi blackouts started to appear. It was happening either on the laptop, or on one cell, or on all devices at once. After such a loss of signal, sometimes turning off the router helped. Unfortunately only sometimes. Sometimes it helped to go to the router with the laptop, but as soon as you went to his workplace, after a few moments there is no connection again. The same thing happens with the printer. She used to use WiFi for several years, and now she loses the signal very often, not to mention the fact that a lot of time passes from the "Print" command to the start of printing. On the first floor, on this router, I do not have WiFi at all (I connected a permanent TpLink router to Huaweia via the cable and finally I have coverage).
I started calling the supplier and this one:
    1. Several times he changed the parameters of the router responsible for WiFi.
    2. When that did not help, a technician sent him to set up the router - he worked with the technician, after his departure the problem returned.
    3. I called again and they set up remotely from each other.
Computers run well on the cable and there are no such problems.
Recently, I learned from the supplier that they will not give me a router and recommend that I buy another one, put a Huaweia next to it and take a WiFi signal from it. They explain that they provide internet via cable, and Wi Fi is not !!! I said what I think about something like that. Unfortunately, the consultant has little to say.
Does anyone have or have had similar situations? Is it the fault of the router or something else?
I am asking for help, because such a network operation (when most devices work only after WIFi) is unthinkable for a long time.

What is it about? It works as needed on the cable and WiFi does not guarantee anything. Call them to put Huawei into bridge mode and connect your router.

So what? Do you think this is the norm? Why are they installing a WiFi router if it doesn't work. It's strange that I had a radio signal from them previously and everything worked fine. I understand that they guarantee speed on the cable, and not on WiFi. But for WiFi to be lost 5m from the router?

Maybe the router is broken, maybe it should be. The provider cares about how your WiFi works on average. It is his duty to provide a link with specific parameters. And it has been known for a long time that equipment from suppliers is often problematic. You at least have access to the configuration of this router?

Report the problem to the supplier or as a colleague said @makosuu get your own wireless router.

I report all the time. The strangest thing is that it takes a month and during that time the company said nothing that it did not guarantee WiFi connectivity. They told me this yesterday after several interventions. It shows that they want to "release me over the razor" and that's it. With other friends who use their services, everything works fine and there is no problem, so it is all the more weird.
I know that you can add a second router, but where to set it all?

    Hello,
After long and hard battles, they managed to replace the router. So far it's fine. We'll see what's next. Subject to be closed.
