    Hello everybody!

I would like to ask you for help and suggestions - how to get to the device when the screen stopped working?

The screen (display, matrix) has been showing nothing since yesterday.
A "click" sound is heard touching the display.

    The tablet has a warranty.
    Question:
I would not like to send a device that has no PIN security, website password due to sensitive data on the device.
How to get the device console and perform a hard reset or secure the device?

Thank you in advance for your help

If you had USB debugging enabled, you should do a hard reset with adb. Another option is to put the tablet in download mode and upload multi-file firmware.
Of course, the tablet should be sent back for warranty repair.

I have the same problem. Two months ago I gave it as a guarantee, after which the tablet returned after a two-week absence with the information that it is working properly and the service was not needed: / The same symptoms as before: the black screen does not respond. A sound is heard when the volume button is pressed as well as after connecting the charger. You can also hear all incoming notifications or screenshot. Nothing else. Hard reset - no response. Maybe there is a way to embrace it yourself?

I advise you to change the website. Preferably for the main samsung service. This is hardware damage, backlight damaged. How do you light a flashlight on the screen is anything you see?

Lena84 and what was the solution ?? I have the same problem. Only the volume key is heard and the charging light is on. The tablet turned off three times but after a day, sometimes under the charger it started to work.

Hello, I have an identical tablet. Children (6-8 years old) played on it, then one wanted to tear it away and the screen stopped working. When you turn on the power button, the backlight turns on, you hear unlock beeps etc, but the screen will not appear. Tell me, can I save the screen somehow?

I have a similar problem for the second time. Ie the Samsung SM-T585 tablet is on, after connecting the usb power, you can hear the power connection sound. You can also hear the sound when you turn it down and up. The sound is also heard when pressing power plus Vol- (screenshot). Tablet also resets when holding Power and Vol- for 10 seconds. But you can't see anything on the screen, you can't see anything when backlit with a flashlight. But it seems to me that when the battery dies completely then it can be recharged. Somehow he came back to life a few times. you should wait and see if it helps this time. Strange thing, I don't know why this is happening.
