Hello everyone, maybe there will be someone amongst users who knows if they can install the navigation? I found a hidden menu in which these were secret options to turn on or off e.g. TV, radio launch logo and just the navigation option. However, when you run this option there is a black screen only.
Does this radio even have a GPS receiver? It didn't occur to you that these secret options are because they are secret because they don't work? The software is probably identical for all Vordons, and in this secret menu the manufacturer has turned off what the given model does not have ... It is not without reason that such a radio with navigation costs PLN 800, without navigation you can buy for less than PLN 400.
I don't know if there is a GPS receiver or even if it wasn't or it couldn't be added. But the option, e.g. tv works because I saw with my own eyes how the guy had a TV antenna connected and everything worked, although it is not written anywhere, even on the official vordon website.
How did you activate this hidden menu ?. I have the same Vordon HT-869BT radio and I can't even change the Power backlight to a uniform color, because it changes all the time.
@ElektrodaBot how to run hidden menu on Vordon HT 869BT radio?
@ElektrodaBot
Quick answer . The most common way to open the "hidden / service" menu on the Vordon HT-869BT:
1. From the home screen, press the "Settings" icon (cogwheel). 2. scroll to the very bottom and select "Factory Settings" or "Factory Settings". 3. a window will appear asking for a password. In order, try the codes: 8888 → 126 → 3368 → 3711 → 0000 (after entering the correct code, a menu will open). 4. if your unit does not have the "Factory Settings" item, hold down the VORDON logo on the home screen for approx. 5 s or hold down the physical "MENU/HOME" button + cogwheel icon at the same time (5-7 s).
Once in the menu, look for the "MCU/Other" tab where you enable/disable functions (GPS, TV, backlight colour, etc.). You make all changes at your own risk - enabling functions without the appropriate hardware usually ends in a black screen or reboots.

1. Why are there two "hidden" menus? 2. 1. Factory Settings (protected by code) - configures hardware (GPS, camera, backlight, start logo, radio bands). 2. MCU Test/Service - typically started by holding down a corner of the screen for a long time; used for production tests (touch-panel, audio, CAN, etc.).
On the HT-869BT, both are sometimes available, but depending on the firmware version, one may be disabled by the importer manufacturer.

If none of the code works - this usually means a blocked menu in the compilation in question.
3. Frequently requested options 3.
1. colour of the POWER button illumination: Factory Settings → "Lamp Settings" or "Key LED" → select colour or "OFF" for fixed. 2. start logo: Factory Settings → "Logo Select". If you want your own 800×480 BMP file, copy it to a memory stick and use the "User logo" option. 3. GPS/navigation: - Enabling the option alone will not add the module - the HT-869BT does not have it at the factory. - You can connect an external USB-GPS module (e.g. u-blox), but you need to set in Factory Settings: "GPS Type → External" and ttyUSBx port in the navigation application. 4. TV/DVB-T2: requires a separate USB tuner; without it, the screen will be black after activation.
4. How to safely test changes . 1 Take photos of all tabs before the change. 2. test changes one at a time, after each make a Soft Reset (RST button or disconnect ACC for 10 s). 3. if the radio stops booting, disconnect it from power for 30 s; in most cases the MCU will restore the default flags.
5. What if no code/sequence works? . - Check the MCU version ("Settings → About Device"). If it starts with "V8" or "T5...", the radio has a new loader - a 2023 Vordon import. In these versions, the importer has removed references to Factory Settings. These can only be restored by uploading the full firmware from an earlier series (risk of warranty/default!). - Contact Vordon's technical department - they will give you the correct code when you make a service request or provide an update.zip file with the menu unlocked.
6. Trends and alternatives . - The latest Chinese 2-DIN units based on the UIS7862 platform (Android 10-12) have Factory Settings open in "Car Settings" with the code 16176699; the HT-869BT can therefore be "rejuvenated" by replacing it with a newer plug-and-play model with better OTA support. - There are open-source MCU ports ("Hal9k Mod") in the XDA/4PDA communities to fully unlock old Vordons - requires root + risk of losing radio, though.
---
What next? . If none of the above methods work: 1. provide the exact MCU version in the forum ("MCU version", "Build number"). 2. write which codes and sequences you tested - we will narrow down the search.
Good luck and let us know which code was successful - this will help future HT-869BT users!
