Hello, what is the difference between Sony VTC5A and VTC5 cells. Which has a higher discharge current? Is it worth paying extra to VTC5A?

Nie, dziękuję Przekieruj mnie tamkacpo1 wrote:Different sellers provide different parameters regarding the Charging / Discharge Current, because in fact, such cells have a much, much higher maximum discharge current than specified by the manufacturer. But using them under higher loads may result in, among other things, a reduction in capacity, total cell damage and even an explosion.
Safe current for VTC5 is 20A and for VTC5A is 35A

It depends if you need so much electricity ...

I would choose VTC5A, although VTC5A also has interesting parameters.
Seriously, estimate what current you will need, and choose such cells.
