I have a problem with adapting the suspension in the 2007 Audi A8 4.2fsi.

During the adaptation of the suspension after the start of the adaptation in channel 01, when it displays "wait", the rear of the car fell down and it does not rise .. I waited several minutes but I kept waiting and the suspension is standing.

When I raise the rear - with the pumping procedure in basic settings and align with the front based on the pressure - the adaptation procedure starts again but the rear of the car drops again. I also did a factory reset. But the situation is impossible. There is one error -01437 but understandable because the procedure is started but the suspension has not been adapted. Please help

Thanks for the hint. Because actually pumping is suspicious for me.

Say whether in the pumping procedure. I am doing vcds, so login 08367 and basic settings of groups 24 and 25 and then the compressor pumps up to a certain point and stops. You have to turn off the ignition and restart the procedure and continue to pump. Is this normal or should I pump all the way ?? Ps the battery voltage is correct.

He's pumping all the time. There is a temperature sensor in the compressor and the compressor turns off at the set temperature.

But what is pumping all the time or not, have you checked if it has power?

Disconnect the clamp for testing or leakage in the system. Are you sure about this compressor?

After a few more attempts from installing the new compressor, the adaptation was successful, but in this way: I started in the 1st channel, I entered the measured value and left the adaptation completely, later 2nd circle and the same 3rd and 4th, then I saved the 5th channel and it worked. Weird, but that's the way it's great now. The car is finally standing as it should. Thanks for the advice.

Topic summary

The user experienced issues with the suspension adaptation of a 2007 Audi A8 4.2fsi, where the rear of the vehicle dropped during the adaptation process. Despite attempts to raise the rear using the pumping procedure and performing a factory reset, the suspension remained unadapted, displaying error 01437. Responses indicated that the compressor might be malfunctioning, and it was suggested to check for power and potential leaks in the system. After several attempts with a new compressor, the user successfully completed the adaptation by sequentially entering measured values in channels 1 through 5, ultimately resolving the issue.
