    Hello
    I replaced the battery today.
Before the exchange I had a 95Ah battery of some crappy Chinese company with German decals.
I do not remember what encoding it had.
Today I've installed the Varta 110Ah 920A battery.
I coded it with VCDS 18 and introduced such coding: 000915105AK VA0 6104020923
Others, unfortunately, do not want to enter. The program throws an error with an incorrect number of characters or an incorrect string of characters. I do not remember exactly.
It pops out that it should have 26 characters in the hexadecimal system or something like that.
Apparently he took this one code but in measuring blocks he shows something quite different. Shows that the battery has 66Ah.
Is this the fault of coding or maybe something else?
Can he sometimes go into emergency mode for this reason? I would like to add that this mode is most often used on the ignition itself.
All I need to do is turn off the car. I will start and emergency mode disappears for some time, sometimes even a few days will not appear.
That's how it looks. I apologize for somehow photos but I did them quickly.
Is this Can Gateway module for exchange? Or maybe something else?

I have several codes to try them:
    000 915 105 CF
    4L0915105
    5GM915105AD
    5GM915105AE

I changed the coding to 8K0915105F and still the VCDS shows the battery charge in 91% and the capacity only 75Ah
What could be the reason? I still try to look for some other coding?

Is 110Ah predicted in this car at all?

You can mount it. I do not know why, however, it does not show 90Ah or 100Ah if the coding is from 110Ah.

Please take a look at these pictures.
I can not understand why the voltage is changing.
I coded the battery like this - 8K0915105F for 110Ah.
The last photo shows the parameters as soon as the car is out.

Today on the alternator I had 14.2V and, for example, 12,8V or slightly over 13V yesterday. Is the regulator on the alternator for replacement?

Check if the charging does not increase when the number of receivers is turned on.
    If so, it's normal.

    Hello.

I will not start a new topic.

A month ago I bought Varta Silver Dynamic 110Ah.

    I coded these codes: 8K0915105F or 000915105AK.

Please tell me why after charging a full rectifier VCDS shows that it is 98% charged and that it has only 77 Ah?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around coding issues encountered after replacing a 95Ah battery with a Varta 110Ah 920A battery in an Audi A4 B8 2.0TDI. The user attempted to code the new battery using VCDS but faced errors related to incorrect character strings and an inability to display the correct amp-hour (Ah) capacity, which showed as 66Ah instead of the expected 110Ah. Various coding attempts were shared, including codes like 000915105AK and 8K0915105F, but the VCDS continued to show discrepancies in battery charge and capacity. Additional concerns were raised about the alternator's voltage readings and whether they indicated a need for replacement. The discussion highlights the importance of correct battery coding and the potential for emergency mode activation due to coding errors.
