Hello, I am at the CC 2015 workshop. from Canada for the conversion of rear lamps. Fortunately, I was able to convince my client to buy three rear lamps for Europe. My question is whether in this case you need to add cables from BCM to the rear lamps? Just in case, I pulled back 3 cables (2 directions and fog) The switch has been replaced and from the switch from pin 7 I pulled the cable and connected to the BCM on pin C47. I wanted to check the direction in the tail lamps but the directions do not work so I turned on the emergency and the counter started flashing. What could be going on?

I have not done coding yet because I wanted to prepare an electrician and connect it and finally do coding. Is this coding done in the gateway or in the central electric unit?

Sorry, I didn't speak for a while, I struggled with this error and it was only through Odis that I was able to code the bsm. Only the problem of the headlights remained, so in the original the car had headlights with a led strip and now they are without a led strip and includes / W16W bulb LIGHT STOPPED / bulb mounted diagonally to the side as cornering lights H7 / bixenon / here is a link to these lights. I removed the old light driver from the glove box and bought a second one with the numbers 6R0907357 C for these lights. I have a problem with the connection because you need to redo the installation and in my old elsa there is no other diagram but for this old driver or someone has a connection diagram for these lamps in the language English or Polish ?????

    Added after 6 [minutes]:

As I found out that in this Passat there is a reflector with static cornering lighting and not, as in the diagrams in elsa, for dynamic cornering lighting

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around converting the rear lamps of a 2015 VW Passat CC from North American specifications to European standards. The user is seeking guidance on whether additional wiring from the Body Control Module (BCM) to the rear lamps is necessary after replacing the lamps and switch. They have already pulled back three cables for direction indicators and fog lights but are experiencing issues with the direction indicators not functioning correctly, leading to flashing when the emergency lights are activated. Responses highlight the importance of coding the BCM, specifically in the central electric unit, and inquire about the correct coding parameters for features like cornering lights and proper functioning of the rear lamps. The user also faces challenges with headlight compatibility and wiring diagrams for the new light driver.
