I will join the question - I will sleep occasionally; whether to buy one of those asked for by the predecessor, or maybe:
Manufacturer / type. Current Electrode. Cycle. Current 100%. Price
    POWERMAT 250S 20-250 2.5- 4.0 40% 193A 120 + 210cm 297 PLN
    KRAFT & KD1840 10-250 1.5- 4.0 60% 193A ?? 299zł
    KRAFT & D EC1845 20-250 1.5- 4.0 60% 193A ?? 329zł
    BASS BP-4861 20-300 1.6- 4.0 60% 230A 180 + 400cm 364 PLN
and two previously presented by the predecessor
    KRAFT & KD1855 20-300 1.5- 5.0 60% ?? ?? 349zł
    RIPPER M79376 20-315 1.5- 5.0 60% ?? ?? 389zł
I'd like to choose POWERMAT if it's not somehow worse than KD1840, and how is the grandfathering the other one

It's hard to advise on this issue, because often these welders differ only in housing and the name of "manufacturer", and achieving 300A from one phase is unrealistic. You have to take the correction. Personally, I would choose the one that has: the highest idling voltage, the longest welding wires, the longest warranty. Buy and test for pain.

I have been using an inverter with 200A of Nutol for several years. Sufficiently for housework. Only he then cost 800 zlotys. Remember that each mm electrode is 40 A of welding current. Those of them 320A, with a pinch of salt, treat as described by Col. Michelson. (It is easy to check the 5 mm electrode and at the same time you should cut the maximum current, for example, a thick sheet - because 70A per 1 mm electrode used to be cut). Here, probably forget about cutting. ADVERTISEMENT and that's it. I will just add that you would not have bought from the links above and so you need to buy a few meters of welding wire and put on it a butt, mass clamp and socket entry. It will take you 15 or 20 minutes. This will be a necessity because in sold sets welding cables are very short which makes it difficult to work. A brush from a set with this so-called using a hammer to bounce welds to be thrown away after the first use because it will sprinkle. These welders can not be used on a wet surface and must be stored in a dry and warm room for the winter. The idling current is important but the inverters all have a noo stick function, so electrode bonding is not likely to occur. In the former Bester there was only a high idling voltage of 70V.

@Michelson @wiesiekmisiek, thank you very much for the information. I understand that all these welders are very similar.
Because I am a layman, I will ask why in some welders is given that the electrodes 2.5-4 and in some 1.5-4 since the minimum current is the same? or just "pliers" in the flask will not stick well with the smaller diameter of the electrode?

Because the sellers often write rubbish, or do not know and do not know what they sell, they only copy the descriptions. In addition, 99% no longer have 1.5 mm electrodes, they are 1.6 mm, and that's a difference. Each normal grip should grip the 1.6 electrode without a problem.
