Vaillant Gas Heating: Radiator Settings & Boiler Functionality at 22°C Indoor Temperature
I moved recently. For the first time I have gas heating and I was interested in one thing. If I have a temperature of 22 degrees Celsius, say 20 degrees at home, but I have radiators turned off at zero during this time, the stove is working or not working at the time?

With gas heating, you set the temperature on the controller and the boiler will maintain the set temperature. There is no need to turn off the radiators, and for what?

    Thank you for your answer.
It will clarify where my questions came from. The last 2 months were undergoing renovation, the controller was set as in the picture and the radiators were turned off. Now, when I moved in and started poking around with this driver, I was curious whether I would pay for these 2 months: p

The bill may be slightly higher / the boiler if it was heating, it only kept the temperature inside so the gas did not go away.

Generally, the boiler must be in heating mode and if the room regulator signals too low temperature, it gives a heating signal and the boiler switches on.
If the radiators are turned off, the boiler will heat up the boiler water quickly and turn off quickly, but it will try until the temperature does not rise to the set value, i.e. the boiler burner will be fired unnecessarily.
If the boiler has heating mode off and works only in domestic hot water mode, the temperature settings on the controller are irrelevant to heating.

So much for the general assumptions, but how exactly is your case I do not know.
It would be worth reading the instruction manual from the boiler and regulator if you want to be an aware user and use the system to your needs. Unless you stay there temporarily, it's a waste of time to learn about new equipment.
