There should be control transistors on the blower, often when the motor is blurred, they burn outside the resistance.

Connect the fan briefly as you have access, you will know if it works. If so, you replaced the resistor and checked the fuses, check that the contacts in the fan switch are ok.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a malfunctioning heater blower in a 2001 Peugeot 206 1.9 Diesel, where the blower does not operate on gears 1-4 despite the resistor being replaced. Users suggest checking the control transistors on the blower, as they may burn out if the motor is faulty. It is recommended to connect the fan directly to the battery to verify its functionality. Additionally, the author is advised to check the fuses, specifically fuses No. 6 and 7, and inspect the contacts in the fan switch. The author confirms that the fan works when connected directly to the battery but is still seeking further assistance regarding the fuses and a potentially damaged fan connector.
