    Hello,
In my t5, I only had 4th gear for a short time, before doing so, the airflow stopped working completely. The blower fan was almost standing and it was impossible to start it with the home-made methods. Thermic in the blower resistor blown.
I replaced the whole fan with a new one and a complete resistor with a thermic (the old resistor was cracked and rusty so it was not easy to replace the thermal fuse itself).
I checked the fuses in the box in the cabin (there is only one, because it's a poor version), in the fuse box near the battery and the main under the battery. All good. The fan will not vibrate at any speed.
The cables look like new by the eye.
Vcds chinol is attached only to the abs and radio, reads the mileage and vin from the engine. No errors. The car is so poor that it does not even have GATEWAY, so I do not know if VAG should connect to anything else and diagnose it.

Should there be voltage to the plug of the blower resistor with the resistor disconnected?
Is there any blower relay along the way?
Did anyone hear the knob fall by itself (all this 1-4 speed switch)?
Thank you for any advice or ideas

For what? Another fuse box? If so, I don't see anything like that.

Blower action paused. In the car, she seals under the head and stands at the mechanic's where it turned out that it was a translated Englishman ... in case I did not come to an agreement with the seller and marry him, I will continue the topic later. Thank you for your interest.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 2007 VW Transporter T5 experiencing a complete loss of airflow from the blower fan. The user replaced the blower fan and the blower resistor, which had a blown thermal fuse. Despite checking all relevant fuses and finding them intact, the fan remains unresponsive. Participants suggest checking for voltage at the blower resistor plug and inquire about additional fuse locations, including under the driver's seat. The user indicates that the vehicle lacks a GATEWAY for further diagnostics with VAG tools.
